Title: Chief Executive Officer, Founder and Senior Consultant
Background: Dr. Frelin is a senior researcher, associate professor, program director and elected member of the infrastructure committee at Karolinska Institutet. He has been working with vaccine development for infectious diseases, pre-clinical and clinical development of lead vaccine candidates during the last 15 years. Dr. Frelin is a co-founder, research scientist, and board member of Svenska Vaccinfabriken Produktion AB (2015 – present). Dr. Frelin is the inventor of numerous patents and patent applications. He has performed two clinical phase I/II trials for experimental vaccines, and has developed a new injection device, the In vivo Intracellular Injection Device (IvIn) technology, which is a new needle for improved cellular uptake of experimental vaccines in animals and humans.

Title: Business Development Partner, Customer Relations
Background: Dr. Benkessou has a PhD in Medical Science from Karolinska Institutet, and a Master degree in Biotechnology from Al-Akhawayn University in Ifrane, Morocco. She has a broad expertise in the area of pharmacology and toxicology. Dr. Benkessou has a long experience working with analytical methods such as LC-MS and GC-MS as tools for studying pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics (PK/PD) in animal models and patients. She also has experience in targeted sequencing for patients with Familal Hypercholesterolemia (FH). Fadwa is Quality Assurance and ICH-GCP certified.
